DIY Tassel Garland

Friday, January 24, 2014

Today's post is about how to make a tassel garland!  I've seen so many cute pictures of these garlands, I had to have one!  They're so cute, and easy to make!  I made my tassel garland in Valentine colors!

You will need:
Tissue paper
Rotary cutter or scizzors
2 yards of rope
Hot glue gun

First, fold the tissue paper in half.  (I did 3 sheets at a time.)  Cut into 1 inch strips.

I used 15 strips per tassle.

Tightly twist the strips together from the middle.

Fold the tassel over the rope.

Use a couple of dots of hot glue to keep the tassel together.

Simple as that!  Hang and enjoy!  I love this fun garland so much! I used clear command hooks to hang my tassel garland.

You can get hoops like these from Sweet September!

Valentine Hoops available at Sweet September!

I would love to see pictures of your cute garlands!  Good luck!

loves, tayler
