Easy Chicken Roll Ups

Thursday, October 3, 2013

Chicken Roll Ups are quick and easy to make, and they are delicious!! My sweet Great Grandma Alene used to make these when I was little. They were one of the first meals I learned how to cook by myself! Every time I make Chicken Roll Ups, I think of my wonderful Great Grandma! :) Isn't it wonderful how foods can bring us lovely memories? :)

                           Chicken Roll Ups
Full recipe at bottom of post!

Mix 3 OZ of cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of butter and 2 cans of chicken (5 oz cans) until creamy.

Unroll Crescent Rolls and press out with your fingers. Don't make them too thin or they will rip when you roll them! Put a spoonful of the chicken mixture on the crescent.  Roll up and fold over sides.

Melt another tablespoon of butter. Dip rolls in butter and Ritz crackers.

Spray cookie sheet with Pam and bake at 350 for 20 minutes, or until golden brown. Serve warm with green beans or broccoli!

3 OZ Cream Cheese
2 Tablespoons Margarine or Butter
2 Cans of chicken (5 oz cans)
1 Can of Crescent Rolls (8 count)

5-6  Crushed Ritz Crackers another Tablespoon of Butter

Mix cream cheese, butter and chicken until creamy.  Unroll crescent rolls and spread out dough with fingers. Place a scoop of chicken mixture on the roll. Roll up and fold sides over.  Melt another tablespoon of butter and dip rolls in butter, then in crushed Ritz crackers.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes on a greased cookie sheet.
Broccoli or green beans goes great with Chicken Roll Ups! :)

Hope you enjoy this recipe!
